A retail gifting business needed standard ERP capabilities (inventory, sales, invoicing) plus custom workflows for gift box assembly — combining multiple products into configurable gift packages with custom pricing, seasonal themes, and corporate bulk ordering.

Key Decisions

• Extended the standard product model with a 'Giftbox' composite type that references child products with quantity and position metadata.
• Built role-based dashboard widgets so managers see revenue metrics while warehouse staff see pending assembly orders.
• Implemented a document drive for storing product photography and marketing assets linked to inventory items.
